Welcome Message - from the Host Organizations

On behalf of the International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) and the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), we would like to take this opportunity to extend our most cordial invitation and the warmest welcome to all of you to the 21st IUHPE World Conference on Health Promotion organized on 25 – 29 August 2013 at the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH) in Pattaya, Thailand.

The IUHPE and ThaiHealth together with our co-hosts and supporters jointly organize this important triennial event under the theme ‘Best Investments for Health,’ which allows reflection on the most efficient, effective and equitable ways of supporting and advancing health and well being. It will provide multi-sectoral participants from around the world the opportunity to exchange knowledge and lessons learned in health promotion. It is our wish that this meeting will serve as a platform to drive health promotion further to the forefront of the global health agenda and make a difference to sustainably improve the wellbeing of all people.
