IUHPE Forum for members and non-members

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010 16:00 – 19:00

Traditionally, the IUHPE holds its General Assembly during the World Conferences to vote on and formally approve triennial Activity and Financial Reports, Strategic Directions, Resolutions, etc. In the interest of sustainability and equitable access to participation, the Executive Committee has suggested to hold an electronic General Assembly after the 20th IUHPE World Conference to vote on and endorse important issues related to the business of the Organisation but also those that may arise from the many sessions at the Conference. This measure will enable all members who are unable to attend the World Conference in Geneva to participate in the ‘e-General Assembly’. In order to fully take advantage of the presence of IUHPE members and of the health promotion community representatives who will be in Geneva, we have prepared for an interactive open forum where all IUHPE members, and non members alike, will be able to meet, share and discuss issues of relevance for the Organisation’s work and development. The draft agenda of this Forum will be circulated to all IUHPE members by email prior to the World Conference and will be available on site at the IUHPE booth.
