Supporting local health actions that address the social determinants of health

Objective:
Exchanges will:

• Highlight information that is useful for the implementation of mechanisms and activities to support local actions in health that address the social determinants of health
• Support understanding of local action dynamic in terms of objectives, resources and specific contexts and how these present opportunities to gather actors to better understand and address the needs for support.
  

• What are the various goals of interventions that support local actions?
• How do we determine subjects of such interventions?
• What shape do these interventions take and what methodologies do they use?
• What are the systems, who are the actors and instigators? What are the specificities, differences, barriers, etc. of such interventions?
• How and based on what criteria should results of these interventions be evaluated?
• Can we move from specific and individual support to a more sustainable support system? Is it desirable? Under what conditions?
