Meet the authors

On three mornings during the Conference [July 13th – 15th], from 7 h 30 to 8 h 30, the authors of
recently published books in health promotion, health education or sustainable development will be available to discuss their contents with participants. Up to eight different books will be featured each morning. In order to allow significant exchange between the authors and the participants, a maximum of about 20 participants is planned for each book, on a first come-first serve basis.

The exchanges will be held in the language in which the book was written and facilitated by a graduate student. These special sessions are being prepared by the authors and the facilitators under the assumption that the participants are familiar with the book and have come prepared to discuss with the authors key issues raised within the content. All books discussed in the Meet the Authors morning sessions will be on sale at the conference. Breakfast will not be provided during these events; participants are expected to eat before or after the session.
