General Guidelines

  • Presenters have been designated a session date and time, and the session order has been confirmed (see abstract submission acceptance letter)
  • The purpose of a symposium is to provide a structured format, where a series of presentations are organized around a common theme in order to engage the audience in critical reflection on key issues and questions relevant to the topic area.
  • Each Symposium session comprises of 90 minutes and accommodates 3 to 5 presentations. Accordingly, each integrated spoken paper consists of about 10 minutes. A moderator coordinates the session and facilitates the discussion. To ensure all presenters have equal opportunity, the moderator should strictly enforce session times. Please do not go over the allotted time. At least 45 minutes of the Symposium should be dedicated to discussion.
