General guidelines

Presenters have been designated a session date and time. Please note that there are two types of workshop work spaces (see abstract acceptance letter what work space has been assigned for your workshop):
- Theater style seating and technical equipment
- Working group set-up and flipcharts, no technical equipment
- The purpose of a workshop is to provide an opportunity for a small group of participants either to receive training in a skill set or to debate innovative ideas and challenging questions, identify areas for further action and/or develop suggestions as to how these ideas could be implemented in practice.
- A workshop involves a session coordinator, as well as several co-organisers/session trainers. Each session will last 90 minutes, except for the time slot on Monday 18:15-19:30 (75 min).

Suggested workshop formats:
- World Café – an innovative and simple methodology for hosting conversations about questions that matter. These conversations link and build on each other as people move between groups, cross-pollinate ideas, and discover new insights into the questions or issues.
- Open Space – a question/issue for debate is formulated. Participants then create and manage their own agenda of parallel working sessions around a central theme/idea/issue of importance.

Other creative ideas are welcome!
If you have innovative and creative ideas on how to present your contribution (not only workshops, but also symposia, oral papers or posters), feel free to share them with us!
If any changes regarding the presenting author occur, a written statement needs to be sent to indicating the conference, the abstract number, the old presenter and the new presenter at the very latest until the 30th of April 2010. After this date no changes can be considered for the printed programme.
